Upcoming Events

The BCAC Box Office is open Tuesday-Friday from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The box office is open an hour and a half before each event start time for sales at the door. As of August 29th, BCAC will be selling tickets for select events at the box office and online via Vendini. Look for the "Buy Tickets Now" button accompanying certain shows. All events are at the Turnage Theater unless otherwise noted.

Holiday Cornucopia Workshop
with Pamela Zimmerman

8:00am - 5:00pm

Join the Natural Fibers Group and Fiber Artist Pamela Zimmerman and learn to weave your own rustic cornucopia to grace your holiday table. The cornucopia is an ancient symbol of abundance and nourishment. The workshop will take you through the process of creating your own cornucopia from start to finish. Cornucopias will be woven from all natural, wild chemical and pesticide free local vines. The completed project can be decorated through autumn, through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and beyond. Unlike the items in the accompanying photo, cornucopias created in the workshop will suitable for tabletops - approximately 12-16”.

During the months of July - September, the Beaufort County Traditional Music Association & Beaufort County Arts Council will cooperatively present a series of local, grassroots, family-friendly entertainment at the Turnage Theater in downtown Washington. Tickets are available from the Turnage Theater box office and at the door. For each show, doors open at 7:00 pm and seating begins at 7:30 pm.

Bill Leslie with Lorica

Rock For Human Rights Fall Tour 2014

Rock for Human Rights (R4HR) was launched with the intent to bring human rights awareness to diverse audiences using the power of music, visual media, and social networking. R4HRʼs national tour will target audiences across the United States with a series of concerts, featuring live music from R4HR founder and accomplished musician Wil Seabrook as well as Alexio Kawara, Zimbabweʼs #1 music artist. Throughout the year the Beaufort County Arts Council plays the proud host to several annual events that define the council and the arts in our community.
