The BCAC Box Office is open Tuesday-Friday from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The box office is open an hour and a half before each event start time for sales at the door. As of August 29th, BCAC will be selling tickets for select events at the box office and online via Vendini. Look for the "Buy Tickets Now" button accompanying certain shows. All events are at the Turnage Theater unless otherwise noted.
Little Art Exhibit

The Beaufort County is bringing back its popular Little Art Exhibit Fundraiser (LAE) to benefit BCAC and its efforts at their new home in the Turnage Theatre. This will be the first time the fundraiser has been held since 2013.
Students under the direction of Steve Myott will create and produce an original play. This is a unique start to finish activity that fully encompasses all aspects of the play-making process. The children learn basic dramatic skills and devices through improvisational exercises, continuing into the creation and fruition of an entire play. The culmination of the workshop will result in a performance for family and friends on Friday, June 20 at 7:00PM at the Turnage Theater.
In this 3-week musical theater camp, director Neva Cashion will take participants through the entire process of mounting and presenting a theatrical production. From the audition process through to performance, students will be exposed to all aspects of theater; rehearsal, costumes, make-up, theater protocol, and more. In association with Music Theatre International, we are proud to announce the this year’s production will be the Kids version of ANNIE. Two performances will be presented on Saturday, August 1. The performances will be ticketed and open to the public.
Theater Mask Workshop

With instructor Steve Myott, students will learn about different types of theatre masks and puppet, and will create one of their own during the workshop. An original performance will be developed and performed for parents, friends, and the public at 2:00PM. Students should bring a bag lunch.
"Let's Make A Movie"

Instructor Steve Myott will conduct a unique camp that involves all of the exciting aspects of film-making, from story creation to acting on film. They will learn film terms and experience what it is like to be a big-screen star! At the end of the week, family and friends are invited to a “Premiere” of the film on June 13 at 7PM at the Turnage Theater. DVD copies of the film will be given to each participant.
Throughout the year the Beaufort County Arts Council plays the proud host to several annual events that define the council and the arts in our community. These events anchor a varied and constantly growing program encompassing all the arts: music, dance, theater, etc., and our yearly fall Fine Arts Show brings the work of renowned artists hailing from all corners of the Southeast to Beaufort County's gallery go-ers.
